2021 Winter Concert
Our annual Winter Concert will be Wednesday, December 8th. Join us at 6:00 pm to enjoy hot chocolate and listen to our student chamber groups! Then, we’ll head to the PAC to listen to the combined orchestra play some festive music while viewing a fun sing-along ettiquete video! We hope to see you all there!
2021 Holiday Extravaganza
Our annual Holiday Extravaganza is returning on Thursday, December 9th at Seven Lakes High School! Visit https://studiovii.square.site/ to purchase dinner and performance tickets and support the Musical and Masterworks programs from the Seven Lakes Fine Arts Department!
2021 Fall Concert
After nearly two years of online learning, we had our fall concert! All of the orchestras played beautifully and it was amazing to finally have a live concert back in person. We heard pieces from all six orchestras and saw hilarious videos directed and edited by our communications team!
2021 Main Event Social
After over a year, the Seven Lakes Orchestras had a social at Main Event! Our students enjoyed their time there, whether it be gunning down their peers in laser tag, flexing their bowling skills or burning their money away at the arcade!
2021 Posters and Premieres!
After over a year of virtual school, we had our first social where students created posters for their representative orchestras, instrument, and grade levels! We played classic SLORK games like Lifeboat and later watched a movie together (Luca)!
Student Leadership Day
Today, the SLORK Student Leadership Team attended a leadership workshop along with Taylor and Tompkins Fine Arts leaders with Scott Lang teaching them valuable leadership skills! Thank you @scottlangleadership for coming out and teaching us today!
2021 Fish Camp
Our officers ran a booth at Fish Camp, welcoming new students into our school! We introduced them to our orchestra program and all the fun an orchestra student would have.
2021 Spring Concert
Our last, and for many students, first in-person concert, was a huge success! UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation
On March 1st, our Divertimento and Symphony Orchestra were evaluated at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation on our campus. Both groups earned a “Sweepstakes” trophy, which means that each of the three judges gave them a Superior rating (I) for their performance and sight-reading.
